GREENSPEED TRIKE MODELS
Choosing the trike that is just right for you can be easy if you ask yourself the following questions -
- Where are you going to ride the trike?
- How are you going to transport your trike when not riding?
- Do you need heavy-duty or prefer light weight?
- How quick does it need to pack down if at all?
- What range of gears will you require?
We have many models to choose from to suit a wide variety of uses, from the GT3 that is great for weekend trail rides, to the GTO which is still our best country to country touring trike. We have roughly separated the models into categories that may help you zero in on your new trike.
The GT3 Series II folding trike
The GT3 is a small trike with a big personality. Designed as an easily transportable trike so that you can fold it up to fit in your car or to take up less space in your shed, it's quick fold is achieved with only a 6mm Allen key for the single seat bolt and one quick release for the frame hinge.

The X3 sports folder
The X3 was created as a sports trike first. Then we added the bonus of the GT3 folding feature. A low seat base helps to lower the center of gravity for better cornering, front wheels are cambered to increase cornering grip and caster angle has been increased to improve rider feedback. With a reclined seat (30 degrees) and awesome road holding ability, this is the perfect trike for a fast rider with the "need for speed". Great for commuting, day rides or touring with a trailer.

Anura
We have used under seat steering, to put the hands in the most natural and ergonomic place, beside your hips. This avoids the cheaper "Ape Hanger" handle bars, with the "sit up and beg" riding position, and having to swing the bars in the opposite direction to which you want to go.
Having found both an increase in performance with the lighter weight of the 16" wheels, and reduction in overall size and weight, we have used 16" for the delta with our 16" x 1 1/2" Scorcher tyres. These tyres were 1st used on our GT3s and have proven to have both a lower rolling resistance and a better ride than most 20" tyres.

The GTO touring trike
The GTO has been designed as a touring trike that you would take on a plane from country to country, pack it down via the S&S Bicycle Torque Couplings and reassemble at the other end. It comes with 406 size wheels as standard to make finding a tire in the middle of nowhere much easier. Frame material is time tested Cromoly that is lovingly TIG welded together. Cromoly has such a great fatigue life compared to other materials and can be repaired almost anywhere should the unmentionable ever happen.

The GTT Tandem Touring Trike
When you want to have a friend (or significant other) along, this is the trike to take. The design features a stretched, triangulated frame with excellent pedalling stiffness while still having a comfortable ride. The standard Greenspeed reclined mesh and shock-corded seats provide semi-suspended comfort and low wind resistance.

The SLR ultra-low race trike
The SLR is low, we mean really LOW. At only two foot wide, just over an inch of ground clearance and a twenty degree seat angle, this is a seriously fast trike! Instead of GS handlebars, this has a single side stick for steering with a fixed left handle for something to hang on to. Standard equipment is mostly Ultegra and is only available with drum brakes. This is for a rider with a need for speed.

The GTE Expedition Trike
The name says it all! This trike is a world tourer - designed for self sufficient touring in third world counties. It has an even stronger frame than the GTR, a longer wheel base to give room for the integral double pannier racks, and a stronger rear wheel, taking the rated load capacity to 160lbs (80kg). Popular extras are the disc brakes, the Schlumpf mountain-drive, and the front guards. It is also a popular as a trailer towing vehicle for home based businesses which need to move stuff around like garden maintenance, furniture repairs, etc..

The GTH hand powered trike
Greenspeed not only makes trikes for able bodied riders, we have been making hand powered trikes since 1992! By powering the rear wheel, you can now ride places that you only dreamed of, as it provides great climbing traction because we have fitted a staggeringly low 6 inch first gear. This is achieved with a SRAM Dual Drive, 11-34 cassette and a Schlumpf Mountain Drive fitted as standard!. Another of the GTH's benefits is it's exceptionally tight turning circle, this makes getting around those tricky cycle path scenarios a thing of the past.
