The good folk at Hase have been building special cycles since 1994. Exclusively: trikes for maximum fun and comfort, bikes for tandem enthusiasts, laid back recumbents and special cycles and accessories for people with limited mobility and handicaps.

New innovations continue in 2010 models including Kettwiesel, Pino and Trets. All Hase bikes are available as standard models or custom made to turn your dream into reality.

The Pino tandem with its unique upright rear captain’s seat and the front recumbent stoker seat has always offered comfort, flexibility and performance. With its new stiff aluminum frame that can be taken apart for transport, it can now fit into a small compact car or a bike case for plane travel. A high -precision tube joint with an internal clamping mechanism beneath the front seat allows disassembly and reassembly of the extremely stiff frame with the simplest of tools.
The recumbent front seat and upright rear seat lets tandem pairs enjoy conversation and the large selection of accessories that enable even young riders and people with handicaps become tandem enthusiasts. To follow the adventures of  Dom on a Pino, please go to www.takeaseat.org, the Take a Seat (Banff Tour) documentary, funds raised for the Hope and Homes for Children.

The Kettwiesel delta trike now has a stiff 7046 aluminum frame, low riding mesh seat between two road gripping cambered rear wheels. With the new Quickstick rear hubs, the cult cornering machine is now one of the most transportable trikes on the market. Just remove a single screw, pull off the rear wheels, fold down the seat and the trike is ready for transport. The vast array of equipment options can turn the allround Kettwiesel into a touring, off road, or racing machine.

The Kettwiesel is also available as a full power hand trike or a vast array of special needs equipment making it accessible for almost any rider.

The Trets, a scaled down version of the Kettwiesel, offers a real trike for kids with option as a trailer puller behind a bike or another trike or as a full child powered trike that can be converted into a trailer. The Trets now has foldable handlebars making it easy to mount.

As you research Hase more deeply, you will find they have a machine that will be perfect for you.

A new shipment of Kettwiesels, Pinos and Trets have just arrived and are available for immediate delivery.

Hello my name is Glenn Ryan. I’m a t-6 paraplegic and have severe spasticity in my lower extremities. I saw a Hase Kettwiesel on a website and would love to try one out. I’m excited by the rear drive and the independant front fork. My insurance will cover the cost but I have to be able to test one out with a customer service representative to get it approved. I live in St Clair Shores, MI. If you know of any way this would be possible please contact me through my above email or by phone (586)610-3903. Thanks for your time.
